HA8 - Task 3

Task 1 Conclusion
This data showed me that the ratings mean was 8 and the median was 9. There was more males that played Five nights at Freddy's than females at 232 to 27, people around the ages of 18-29 played this game the most at 146 and more people from out of the US plays the game more but not by much. and overall the reviews were either very positive or very negative, there was no in between of the website i was using to gather the data. the data was most likely incomplete because i found out how many females played games in general which was more than males, what games they played and how many reviewed the game but they didn't match up.

Task 2 Conclusion
overall from this information i understood that the majority of people who played this kind of game are 17-21 year old males with a lesser amount of females and a very small amount of people who are over that certain age. i also learned that the people who took the survey usually watched videos of the game on YouTube i believe this to not be because of the price but because it can be quite difficult and frustrating of a game to play and people like watching peoples reaction to the scares. the game series was a very good one but the games also got repetitive and quick as the information that i obtained told me that people played the games for a maximum of 2 hours and usually spent up to 1 hour on the game probably because it got to hard or because they found it too repetitive and boring to carry on.

Comparison
Comparing the results i got from task 1 and task 2 i can firmly say that they audience is mostly males whose age was ranging from 17 to 29 year old. the data from task 1 (gathering information on line/secondary information) set up the information that i was expecting while task 2 (gathering the information personally/primary information) backed up everything that i have learnt from before and what i was expecting from my own time playing the game. basically the information i got was that males from 17 to 29 played it with a minority of woman with the same age and people who were outside of this demographic played the game but a very small amount of people, played the games at that point.
